The appropriate Indonesian visa depends on nationality, purpose of travel, length of stay and the activities you intend to undertake. A tourist visa is for leisure travel and does not by itself authorise work or income-generating activities. Business visits, family stays, investment and professional work may each have different requirements and documents.

For artists, photographers, filmmakers and content creators, the nature of the project and whether it is commercial or non-commercial matter. Advertising photography, professional filming or a production project may require permissions in addition to the appropriate visa. Do not assume a tourist visa permits professional activity.

For an initial review, share your nationality, purpose, intended arrival date, length of stay, work or project plans and host or sponsor details. We can outline likely documents, steps and foreseeable costs. Extensions, processing times and approvals depend on the case and decisions by Indonesian immigration authorities and cannot be guaranteed.

Immigration rules may change. Check current requirements with official Indonesian authorities before buying tickets or taking final action. Kousha Travel provides initial guidance and coordination; it is not a substitute for legal advice or a government decision.
